With a media career spanning 26 years, Sudheer KG has played key roles in broadcasting, production, edtech and entrepreneurship. He played a key role in cementing the market leadership status of Discovery Channel, Animal Planet, TLC and Science Channel in India by continuously evolving Programming strategies. He has set up multiple language feeds of Discovey's network channels. The Tamil, Telugu, Bengali feeds of Discovery network channels extended the reach of the channels further into regional markets. In his programme acquisition role Sudheer played a strategic role in bringing iconic series like Man vs Wild, Nigella: Kitchen, and Planet Earth to India.

In 2011 Sudheer joined the leadership team to launch History TV18 in India, as part of AETN18, the joint venture between TV18 India and A+E Networks USA. With a unique market positioning, strategic content planning and innovative programme promotion, History TV18 soon became the category leader in India. History TV18 soon became the channel with the largest number of regional language options with dubbing operations in Gujarati, Marathi, Urdu, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Bengali languages. As Head of Programming, Sudheer initiated show commissioning at History TV18, some of them include United States of India, OMG franchise and also several branded content productions. in association with state Governments.

In the year 2020, Sudheer KG joined edtech company Embibe, a start up venture supported by Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) in Bangalore. He was instrumental in establishing strategic partnerships with Indian and international edtech and media ventures. 

Sudheer joined Sagar Pictures Entertainment in 2023 as part of its ambitious growth story to become South Asia's largest multimedia content production venture. At Sagar Pictures Sudheer KG is committed to apply the best practices from his vast media career to scale up production of original content, build IPs and new media experience verticals.
